Story

Olly and Sam’s task was to capture footage that embodied the exhilaration, energy and exhaustion of the dedicated runners fundraising in the London Marathon: the mammoth 26.2 mile journey across the capital and why the NSPCC’s cause is important to them. (no small task and almost as much work as running the marathon itself!)

This also involved quickly identifying, framing up and filming a selection of specific runners (out of 40,000) to be interviewed later in the day, as well as safely moving equipment through  thousands of spectators, across London.

The results highlighted the important stories of these fundraising heroes, and emphasised the invaluable contribution that NSPCC volunteers make, while underscoring the crucial call for donations.
