Story
An overcast chilly morning found our film crew outside the Houses of Parliament, preparing to film a significant event inside this prestigious venue; The ‘Chairman’s Lunch’, an annual function hosted by the PPMA, which on this occasion focused on the challenges of leadership; its role and development within UK companies. Notable speakers including Tom Brake MP, Peter Anderton, and Eliza Rawlings who would be sharing their insights throughout the morning.
Our brief was to create a short video which captured the flavour of the event and guest reactions, as well as individual videos for each of the keynote speakers, covering the entirety of their presentations.
As the event room would be full of guests, our crew mapped out in advance safe paths for close-up shots with our handheld cameras, and appropriate placements for static cameras and lighting rigs.
Then with mics prepped and the onsite audio system linked, our team were ready to interview and record Vox pops with attendees during the breaks as well as capturing a memorable lunch in the Winston Churchill dining room.
The resulting footage was given a positive vote and edited for the required social media, website and YouTube versions.
