Story

International Commerce Centre - Guangzhou

CoxGomyl devised an impressive facade access solution consisting of 10 BMU’s, for the International Commerce Centre, the most well known skyscraper, and also the tallest building in Hong Kong, standing at 484mtrs. To service the building facades, BMU’s installed on the roof, were concealed behind parapets to run on tracks with telescoping masts and jibs, while ‘corner machines’ dealt with the unusual ‘dragon tail’ at the base of the building.

Our brief was to demonstrate, through the media of film, our client’s remarkable machinery in action, and which would provide material for their global marketing. Filmed over the course of one long day and night our team produced a dynamic 2 minute video, incorporating split screen, time-lapse, night filming, and Go-Pro footage, as well as accompanying photography, at this sleek futuristic building. Cox Gomyl loved the results, which lead to them commissioning further international projects.
